The classic "desk toy".Using Newton's third law has never been this much fun! Swing one ball and one ball on opposite ends swings in response. What happens when you swing two?

| Designed for kids, but not kid-friendly. The fishing line holding the balls constantly get tangled with each other, and it takes me 10+ mins to untangle. |

I don't know anyone who plays with these things for more then a a minute, so no high marks for fun!
However, it is a quick demonstration of Newtons law that if something bangs into one thing, the thing on that other side of that thing will bang the same way as the first thing.
I gave it two stars because it's fun to have on a desk and this one seems nice enough. |

| My 9 year old son has been begging for a newton's Cradle and I got him this one. It is very well constructed and we're having fun figuring out all the cool ways to make it work! We homeschool, and this fit right in with our physics lesson. |

| I have played with different versions of this and found this one to be made pretty cheap. It works but if I had known that it would of looked so cheap in person I would have spent a few more bucks. |

| This toy is great even for younger kids. I wouldn't recommend it for very young kids, but show a child how it works. Not only will they think the balls swinging from side to side are neat, but later on they will be able to realize what was happening when they take a physics class. This toy can be somewhat addictive, spending quite literally hours watching the balls swing even though you know the outcome. You could very easily give this as a gift for someone you love or keep it at work for people that stop by. What I love most about the Newton's Cradle is my dad had one when I was a little boy, and it is one of the few things I remember him playing with. It is something you can easily get another person involved with minimal complications. So enjoy, and share ur Newton's Cradle with anyone! |
