| I got this as a gift at Xmas for my husband and my brother, who are very friendly competative against one another. Not only did my husband and brother have a ball playing this version of Hot Potato so did my mother, neice and myself!! It is a blast!!! My 10 year old neice was afraid to get "shocked" after my husband read the warning label outloud!! But we all soon discovered that the shock you get really is no where as horrible as you think--don't get me wrong you'll get a shock but it won't leave anyone in tears! The only tears you will have is from all the fun you will have from playing with this toy!! Just make sure you play over a carpeted area or maybe outside in the grass. A hard surface may not be too good for the ball to be dropped on and trust me-it will be dropped during play!! Overall I would highly recommend this toy for people of all ages! |

Had the hardest time trying to get the battery cover off.
The screw was stripped or something and wouldn't come out. The rubber on the battery cover came off. After trying everything to get the screw out, I finally decided to bend it and broke the head of the screw off. Now the batteries are held in place with tape and a rubberband.
Make sure to play with people that aren't afraid to touch it or don't know it shocks. It's no fun when people just watch you hold on to it. It's lasted one fall, so that's a plus I guess. |
| More anticipation than shock... | 2008-07-31 | 1 / 5 |

| I bought this for a challenging game with my friends. We were nervous to play it, and anticipated some short of semi-painful shock. Within 1 minute of playing, we thought the game was lame & were on to something else... Maybe good for 8-10 year olds, but not adults... |

| The premise is good. This would be a fun item if it hadn't broken after the first drop. Now the lights still come on as if it were emitting a shock, but there is no more shock value to it. The only shock is the price I paid for 10 minutes of fun. As another reviewer mentioned, poor construction. |

| This ball provides lots of laughs and is fun to watch people attempt to play with it. We enjoyed it so much we had to buy more for family. |
