Okay, it's been years and I'm still buying Polly Pockets for all the preschool girls in my life. They can't get enough. Why you ask? The combination of having to use their fine motor skills (fingers and hands to manipulate the tiny pieces)along with the social/dramatic play that the Polly Pocket toys offers, keep the kidlings enthralled with this product. I never set out to buy Polly, but the children, (which are many in my sphere) continue to love and cherish the Polly experience. So there, I'm a Polly advocate. If the kids are smiling, playing, laughing and not watching tv, I'm in! Two "Yippies" for Polly Pockets Pool Party Playset.

My daughters really loved this toy when we first brought it home, but it just keeps falling apart. The slides will not stay attached, the pedestals for the base won't stay on (with one leg that refuses to snap in at all). The parts for the tv monitor at the top keep falling off. Nothing on this will stay put. Even just moving it from one room to the other causes the entire toy to just come to pieces. This started right after I put it together with my daughters getting upset because one thing was falling off after the other.
I would NOT buy this unless you are intending on gluing the thing together. Its flimsy, although a cute idea, and they did like to play with it when it is together. Comes with two dolls and a dog, plus some little tiny accessory pieces. |

| The slide is cute but the swing was the big hit!!! She used it a few times, but i would say she is going to use it mostly in the summer, it is great poolside!!! I gave it four stars because she doesn't ask to play with it much. |

| My 5 yr old daughter saw a commercial for this toy & saved her money for it. I purchased a road ripper for my 3 yr old son so he would not feel left out. When he saw his sisters new toy he could care less about his new toy & wanted to play with this too!! It's a very cute set & offers lots of imagination play. They play very well together with this. They race her pollys down each side to see who gets to the bottom first. It's cute that it comes with 2 floats for the dolls to ride on. Nice addition to our Polly collection. This one is definately a new favorite! |
