| This and all Schleich animals are always a great gift for children. It challenges their imagination, the toys are durable, detailed and of a very high quality. Once your kid outgrows them (which will be a while) you can pass them on or even resell fairly easy. They will accompany your child in the tub, in the sandbox, on travels, indoors on a rainy day or on a long drive in the car. They are the perfect little gift for any occasion! The reason I only gave 3 * on the educational value is because it depends on parent / child interaction just how much you can learn with these little toys as an inspiration or motivation. |

| These animals are the BEST.....they are well made and durable in the hands of our 6 little grandchildren.........hours of fun making little "families" with these animals....I was able to get the Buck, Doe and fawn in the deer family and large/small in many of the other animals...Wonderful...realy imagination play for the children. |
