Featuring the Schwinn brand Americans have trusted for over one hundred years this pump is small enough to go with you anywhere. Bicycle tires and tubes require a fixed pressure per square inch (PSI) to function safely and at best performance. Home bicycle pumps allow riders to maintain this conveniently without costly or lengthy trips to the nearest service station. When mounted on a bicycle or stored in a glove compartment fear of being stranded due to low pressure becomes a thing of the past. PTI Sports products are designed with safety as the first and foremost concern and are constructed of high quality parts and materials to prevent degradation over time. Thoroughly tested, our products last through years of use before they are recommended for replacement, ensuring safe cycling for years to come.

I have had this on my Schwinn Prelude road bike ever since I once had a popped tire from falling and had to walk all the way home because I had no patches nor pump. It can pump up a tire enough to have get you home, but you can't pump a whole lot of pressure with this because you can't get as much force on the handle since it is not sitting on the ground and you can't use both hands. In other words you still need to have a regular pump at the house, but this is a good back-up for when you're on the move and can't tote a stand-up pump. I love how easy it is to use on both Presta valves and Schrader valves (You don't have to screw on an adapter or anything like some of the competitors' pumps that I have seen.) It is also fairly easy to mount--all you do is take of the water bottle holder on your bike and put it back on with this under the holder.

Doesn't work real well if you've got a complete flat in that it won't pump it up to the tire's max potential but then again you can't expect that much out of something so small. Its great to get you from a to b if you are low and the dual valve settings are great when you have two bikes with different valves.

This is a decent product if you happen to get a flat tire on the trail in the middle of nowhere. However, if you want to pump your tire up to normal PSI forget about it. It just doesn't have the strength that a gas station air pump has to inflate the tire. I think I lost more air than I put in when trying to "top off" the air pressure on my tires.

you would think with the name schwinn on it that it would...could not get it on deep enough..for me..it was wasted money since I lost my receipt as always is the case with something you need to return.
